Description:
Prep and recovery nursing for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and neurointerventional procedures.
Strong cardiac assessment skills are required.
Telemetry interpretation and moderate sedation recovery experience are essential.
Patient education skills are necessary.
Knowledge of sterile technique and conscious sedation is important.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment is highly desired.
Knowledge of pacemakers, ICDs, and electrophysiology studies is desired.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability are essential for this role.
Preferred experience includes PACU, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, EP, interventional radiology, or procedural recovery.
One year of Cath Lab and critical care experience is preferred.
