Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab.
Description:
The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 3 cath labs.
There are 10-11 staff members working per day in the lab.
The team includes a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists on the day shift.
The patient ratio is 3 staff members per room.
Equipment utilized includes GE X-ray and MacLab.
Electronic medical record system is Meditech.
Typically performed procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella, balloon-pump, peripheral cases, and complex PCIs.
Occasional devices are also used.
A good personality fit includes being easy-going, kind, and friendly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy lab is essential.
Professionalism and attendance are vital.
Staff must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
On-call responsibilities may occur on some weekends and weekdays.
