Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a compact or state license Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Invasive Radiology experience is a plus - Previous travel experience preferred Description: The Catheterization Laboratory provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases. Registered Nurses are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. Invasive Radiology experience is an advantage. Previous travel experience is preferred. The schedule consists of 4 days of 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday. Call is required 1-2 times during the week and on 1-2 weekends per month. Candidates must possess AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certifications. A compact or state license is required. Floating is required within the scope of practice. Housing must be within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) call. All facilities operate on a standard schedule for the two-week pay period, unless noted otherwise. Ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-ins. Orientation takes place bi-weekly. Travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer. Submission packs must include a cover sheet and a copy of the traveler’s unexpired driver's license. References are required, including one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor. Both references must be completed within the last year. Background checks will be processed, and any license issues must be disclosed upfront. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return.
