Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and demonstrate dysrhythmia recognition competency
  • Administer and manage medications in accordance with facility protocols
  • Pass facility-administered ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency exams (via Zoom) prior to assignment start - one attempt only, 85% passing score required
  • Apply knowledge of critical paths in patient care planning
  • Provide weekend coverage for stress testing as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
  • Must pass facility ECG/Telemetry Competency Exam prior to assignment (one attempt only)
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Charge Nurse experience
  • Documented professional development activities
  • Familiarity with critical path methodologies in a hospital setting
