Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Weekend and holiday availability expected; some weekend coverage for stress testing may be required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting
- Perform telemetry monitoring and demonstrate dysrhythmia recognition competency
- Administer and manage medications in accordance with facility protocols
- Pass facility-administered ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency exams (via Zoom) prior to assignment start - one attempt only, 85% passing score required
- Apply knowledge of critical paths in patient care planning
- Provide weekend coverage for stress testing as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Must pass facility ECG/Telemetry Competency Exam prior to assignment (one attempt only)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Charge Nurse experience
- Documented professional development activities
- Familiarity with critical path methodologies in a hospital setting
