Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,673 per week in Jefferson City, MO

Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, and STEMI response protocols. Work in a STEMI-designated acute care facility offering exposure to a broad range of advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, and STEMI response protocols
• Assist with vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, and interventional radiology as needed
• Deliver complete pre- and post-procedural care for outpatient cases
• Participate in weekend call rotation; expected on-call commitment of approximately 12-15 calls depending on staffing and scheduling needs
• Float to other departments (e.g., Pre-Op, PACU, Post, OR, IVR) to assist with tasks when Cath Lab volumes are low
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including fit testing and respiratory clearance protocols prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be willing and able to shave for fit testing - facility does not accept medical or religious exemptions, and CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted
• Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Pre-Op, PACU, OR, or interventional radiology settings
• Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-acuity cardiac care environments
• Strong adaptability and comfort floating to multiple departments as needed
