Description

Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Recovery RN – Western North Carolina

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week; on-call coverage 4-5 weekday nights per 6-week schedule and every 10-11th weekend

Highlights:
  • Work in a 24-bed Cath Lab Recovery unit specializing in prep and recovery for Cath Lab and EP Lab patients
  • Patient ratios of 3-4:1 in pre/post care and 1:1 intraprocedural support
  • Cerner electronic medical record system
  • CNA support available in both pre and post-operative areas
  • Unit does not float; flex scheduling based on patient volume
  • Work at a designated Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with Magnet designation
Requirements:
  • Active North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required
  • ICU or Emergency Department experience required
  • Interventional Radiology or procedural experience preferred
  • Experience with cardiac diagnoses, vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, and CVA
  • Moderate sedation experience preferred
