Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day Shifts Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM & 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM) Experience: 2 years of experience required License: SC license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: EP/Cath experience required Description: Position involves working in the Cath Lab. Shifts are rotating and can vary based on scheduling needs. Team members will rotate shifts but not from day to day. The schedule will include consistent grouping of shifts to maintain stability. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1:1. Weekend hours are required; call shifts are also expected. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. All team members must be willing to stay until procedures are completed. No floating between service lines is expected. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included upon submission. Client requires compliance with all necessary health and safety protocols. During hurricane season, nurses may be assigned to emergency response teams. Experience in cardiac procedures and technologies is essential. The unit handles various cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. Special equipment used includes Impella and balloon pumps. Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Interdisciplinary support is available from various services. Candidates must adhere to specific guidelines regarding submission of documentation. All candidates must have the required certifications and licenses to apply.
