Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years RN Experience Required Must Have: Active State License, ACLS, BLS Description: Cath Lab RN working 4x10-hour days. Shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call duties required. Daily caseload per tech is 8-10 cases. Must have 2 years of RN experience and be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab diagnostics and interventions, including structural procedures. First-timers are not accepted; prior experience is necessary. Weekend on-call responsibilities are required. Respond to on-call within 30 minutes. Weekend on-call starts Friday at 7 PM and goes through Monday at 7 AM, with a rotating schedule for morning and evening calls. No floating is expected; clinician will typically remain in the Cath Lab. Candidates must reside 100 miles from the facility, with consideration for those within a 75-99 mile radius on a case-by-case basis. Pending licenses are acceptable for submission, but an active license is required before starting work. References from 2 managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years are required. Candidates should have BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
