Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting during day shift hours
Perform and assist with EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
Manage and titrate drips including anticoagulation and isuprel
Accurately document patient care and procedures using EPIC CUPID EMR
Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit, including holiday coverage
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa RN license
BLS certification through AHA or ARC (American Red Cross) - required
ACLS certification through AHA - required
Minimum 24 months of current Electrophysiology (EP) experience
Demonstrated experience with cardiac ablation, CRM, and LAAO procedures
Experience with drip/titration of anticoagulation and isuprel
EPIC CUPID EMR experience - required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Scrub experience in an EP or cardiac cath lab environment
