Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab- Practice independently and manage clinical nursing contingencies
- Consistently meet applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
Requirements of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- BLS required (AHA only)
- RN License in state of NM or compact
