Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab- Meet expectations of clinical and professional competencies
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, preferred
- BLS required (AHA only)
- RN License in state of NM or compact
