TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Techs: Scrub and monitor cath lab and/or EP procedures RNs: Monitor and circulate cath lab and/or EP procedures Description: The Cath Lab unit features 11 procedure rooms, including 5 for catheterization, 4 for electrophysiology, and 2 hybrid ORs. The patient ratio is 1 patient to 3 staff members. Unit staffing includes Cath/EP Techs and Cath/EP RNs. We use GE and Philips X-ray systems, as well as Volcano IVUS/FFR and Merge Hemo equipment. Documentation is completed through Merge Hemo and Meditech systems. Shifts are scheduled as four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5 PM. Floating is limited to prep and recovery areas only. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for candidates, especially for monitoring and circulating in the cath lab or EP lab. Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications. The procedures performed in the Cath Lab include diagnostic procedures, PCI, rotoblation, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Pernumbra. In the EP Lab, procedures include EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and lead extractions, including laser lead extractions. Dress code requires the wearing of scrubs. This department is recognized as one of the top cardiac programs, offering a wide range of cardiac modalities.
