Job Description – RN (Registered Nurse), Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts

Start Date: 10/12/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks
Positions Available: 1
Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
Care Setting: Acute | Division: Nursing
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Trauma Level: 1 (Level I trauma experience; will screen busy Level II)
Charting System: Cerner and Xper

Unit Notes:

• 5 total bays: 3 main, 1 EP, 1 Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases)
• 10–25 cases per day; RNs circulate (no scrub)
• Charge Nurse in place
• Rad Tech aides cover circulating/scrub, Endo, and CVOR
• Tele: Phillips | Equipment: Phillips and Siemens | RT and Pharmacy available 24/7
• Common diagnoses/case types: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP cardiology and vascular, MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, EMTALA placement
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 days on the job
• Call: varied, 6–10 shifts per schedule, 30-minute response time required
• Scrub color provided; no dedicated IV team
