Description

Job Opportunity – RN Cath Lab – Florida

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 shifts). On-call requirement for evenings and weekends. Block scheduling not available. All requested time off must be submitted at time of application.

Highlights:

  • STEMI experience required with proficiency in Balloon Pump, Impella, and Atherectomy devices
  • Experience with cardiac medication drips, emergency medications, and time-sensitive cardiac interventions
  • Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and procedural sedation monitoring
  • Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
  • Orientation includes EKG and Pharmacy assessments (2 attempts maximum for each; study materials provided)
  • Pre-start modules required (6-15 hours, non-billable); smoke-free facility with strict attendance policy

Requirements:

  • Active RN license; pending licenses not accepted
  • Minimum 18 months RN experience required; 2 years preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
  • AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with any charting system required
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • 2 professional references from direct supervisor, manager, or director required at submission
