Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM | On-call responsibilities on some weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care within a 3-room interventional cardiac cath lab alongside a team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, complex PCIs, peripheral cases, and occasional device procedures
- Support use of mechanical circulatory support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Maintain a patient ratio of 3 staff per room in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Utilize GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and document accurately within Meditech EMR
- Be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Required Qualifications- Active RN license required; RCIS or RT certification also required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong attendance record
- Ability to work on call, including some weekdays and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume lab managing complex cardiac cases
- Familiarity with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR
- Easy-going, collaborative personality well-suited to a busy, team-oriented environment
