Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of charge experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience. - Proficient in end-tidal CO2 monitoring and activated clotting time (ACT). - Knowledge of various antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives. - Experience in assisting with central line insertion and management. - Expertise in blood product administration and cardiac procedures. - Competence in IV infusion pumps and vasopressors. - Skills in monitoring procedural sedation and obtaining 12 lead EKGs. - Familiarity with patient safety protocols including isolation precautions and infection prevention. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to work in the Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment. The position requires proficiency in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Candidates should have experience in monitoring and assisting during various cardiac procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing PICC lines and performing sheath removal and monitoring. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Duties include patient assessment, preparation for procedures, and post-procedure care. This role may involve weekend coverage and participation in an on-call rotation.
