Description:
We are seeking a Cath Lab RN to join our team.
This position involves working four ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
The shift hours are from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Cath Lab team consists of three full-time nurses.
There is one procedure room and a pre/post procedure area with four bays.
The pre/post area is staffed by two registered nurses.
Occasional weekend STEMI coverage is required.
Travelers are expected to participate in STEMI call when scheduled.
On-call duty is also required, Monday through Saturday.
Only post-PCI patients that need to be brought back into the Cath Lab will be called.
Float between service lines is not required.
Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Guaranteed hours may vary, and the facility can call off one shift every two weeks.
All candidates must adhere to the local radius rule.
Candidates should have a South Carolina RN license in hand or proof of application pending.
Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
Travelers must provide their own radiation badge.
Clinical candidates will be prioritized based on experience and qualifications.
Hurricane season runs from June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Please ensure compliance with all requirements prior to the start date.
Modules and labs must be completed within the specified timeframe.
This position supports adult and geriatric patient populations.
Daily census and patient visits will vary.
