Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care across radiology modalities including CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/PET
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of assigned patients
  • Recognize and respond to clinical and diagnostic changes in patient status
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care facility
  • Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • Proficiency in IV insertion, port access, and management of allergy reactions
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior radiology nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
