Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab. First-timers are accepted. The RN must have experience in diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab. Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias is required. Travelers should prioritize time-sensitive modules once confirmed for the assignment. All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission. Work is in a smoke-free environment, and a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen is required. Emergency department experience is not a prerequisite. Candidates may extend with the facility up to 18 months; a 6-month break may be required afterward. Travel candidates are required to complete annual competency if they attended orientation during the prior calendar year. Modules are required prior to starting and can take up to 15 hours to complete.
