Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic procedures and heart function testing
Assist with and support the performance of Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Echocardiograms, and Stress Tests
Support advanced cardiac imaging procedures including Cardiac CT
Apply and monitor Heart Monitors for inpatient and outpatient populations
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
Care for both inpatient and outpatient populations within the cardiac specialty unit
Required Qualifications
Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in Illinois or a compact state license accepted in Illinois
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience in a cardiac or related clinical nursing setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) environment
Familiarity with cardiac diagnostic modalities such as Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, and Cardiac CT imaging
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team alongside cardiologists and cardiac specialists
