Nurses exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, exemption is temporary until further notice. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of start, must be updated annually. Candidates must complete background checks as per facility's guidelines. Nurses who remain on a continuous contract for a minimum of 1 year are required to complete annual competency assessments. Modules will be completed pre-start and annually, and time needed varies by specialty. Annual modules are billable for up to 4 hours for travelers who have been on contract for a continuous year.
