Contract | Days | 4×10-Hour Rotating Shifts (0700-1730 and 0930-2000); shift weeks are grouped for consistency rather than mixed day to day. Shifts may extend until procedures are complete. On-call is required: one weekday call shift per week and one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month. Call requirements may vary based on staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) setting at a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, remaining on-site until all procedures are complete
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including weekday and weekend call shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge is required and must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
• Be prepared to support emergency response operations during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Radiation badge required - must be supplied by the staffing agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Familiarity with rotating shift structures in a high-acuity procedural environment
