Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform experienced scrub and monitoring roles within a Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab setting
  • Assist with procedures including Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemaker and ICD Implants, TEE, Cardioversion, Loop Recorders, EP Studies, and EP Ablations
  • Maintain a 1:1 team patient ratio, collaborating closely with Cath Lab Technicians and fellow RNs
  • Operate and manage equipment including GE systems, Mac Lab, and Abbott Ensite X
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including a minimum of two weekends per month
  • Float to other areas within the facility or a sister facility where skill set is applicable
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • ACLS certification required
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Demonstrated experience as an experienced scrub and experienced monitor in a Cath Lab environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • EP scrub experience
  • EP monitor experience
  • Familiarity with Abbott Ensite X mapping system
