Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Cath Lab. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit consists of 7 holding beds. Patient ratios and staffing details include support from unit secretaries and techs. Equipment used in the lab includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation is done using MacLab and Meditech. Self-scheduling is available, allowing for flexibility. The position requires participation in STEMI call, approximately 10 to 12 days each month. Advanced skills needed include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP. Procedures performed on this unit include TAVR, PFOA, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, and implants. Dress code includes surgical scrubs provided by the facility.
