Certifications: BLS, ACLS for RNs and Techs; RCIS and ARRT certification for Technicians
Must-Have:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with similar Cath Lab procedures.
All RNs and Techs are required to have travel experience.
Technicians must hold valid ARRT and RCIS certification for the state.
Description:
This position is located in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
The unit features 2 Cath Lab Suites with a 4-person team to 1 patient ratio.
Unit staffing includes Cath Lab Scrub Techs assigned per case.
Advanced equipment includes GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO.
Documentation is managed through the Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech.
Scheduling requires call duty for 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week.
Floating to the outpatient stress test area may occur with a maximum of 40 hours weekly.
The procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab practices.
These may involve Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests.
Solid color scrubs are required as the dress code.
Recent upgrades include the addition of state-of-the-art Cath Lab equipment as of March 2023, along with new EP equipment.
