The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios and unit staffing will be provided upon request. Equipment includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation systems used are MacLab and Meditech. The position requires participation in Stemi Call approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling is available. Floating within departments may be required. Advanced skills needed include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP procedures. Common procedures performed include TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, DCCV, and TEE. The dress code consists of surgical scrubs, which are provided.
