Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting, managing patients with diagnoses including coronary disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular disease, and STEMI/NSTEMI
- Circulate and assist with special procedures including Cardiac Cath, High Risk PCI, Peripheral Interventions, Carotid Stents, and workup for TAVR/Mitraclip
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as Impella, Shockwave, Rotoblator, CSI, IABP, and Laser devices
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation per facility protocols
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Florida RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Circulate and conscious sedation skills required
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Background in research procedures within a Cath Lab environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac interventions including TAVR/Mitraclip workup
