Travel RN – Cath Lab
Facility: Concord Hospital
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts
Schedule: 5x8 hours, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Relevant RN license required
- Cath Lab clinical experience and proficiency required.

Role Overview - A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The nurse assists physicians during catheter-based procedures used to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
- Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and other diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Provide support during angioplasty, stent placement, and valvuloplasty.
- Assist with pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation procedures.
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and assist with emergency interventions as needed.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural equipment is ready and functioning properly.
- Monitor patients for complications and provide post-procedure care.
- Document procedures, patient assessments, and clinical interventions accurately.
- Key Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience for the referenced position.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, cardiovascular procedures, cardiac monitoring, and patient safety.
- Relevant certifications as required by the facility.
License: Active state RN license - Certification: BLS
