Cath Lab RN – Job Description

Experience: 2–3 years of Cath Lab RN experience
License: Active Rhode Island (RI) RN License or Multistate/Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS & ACLS required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians and the cath lab team during cardiac catheterization, angiography, PCI, and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and overall condition throughout procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and contrast agents as ordered.
