If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.*All clinicians must badge in and out at facilityScrubs: Ceil Blue (provided)Shift: 4-10 hr. varying shifts (0530-1600, 0630-1700 and 0730-1800). Will be on the mandate list to fill any vacant call that is not picked up. On Call: 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, 30 minute response time.Dept: Cath LabLocation:Sioux Falls, SDGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedure, circulate in a sterile environment. Procedures include: left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs and cardioversions, venous ablations, peripheral vascular angiogramsEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Pyxis, XIM(Philips monitoring system), Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, Acist contrast injection systemRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Minimum 2 years cath lab experience. Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. ACLS certified. Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)ACLS and BLS requiredBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.8 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 procedural rooms, average of 30 patients per dayNurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)1:1Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.Orientation would be 4-6 shifts, depending on experience, orientation would be geared towards charting, physician equipment preferences. Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:No License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:1 Care Setting:Acute Division: Shift Notes:4-10 hr. varying shifts (0530-1600, 0630-1700 and 0730-1800).
