Orientation dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, or 12/7
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
- Circulating and monitoring experience.
- Level II trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
- Active Iowa or compact RN license at submission.
- Current BLS and ACLS through AHA or American Red Cross.
- Willingness to float to like units across Des Moines campuses and precept as needed.
Structural heart, EP, prior travel, and scrubbing experience preferred.
Call requirements:
- 1–2 nights per week.
- Every third weekend, Friday at 7:30 p.m. through Monday at 7 a.m.
- Rare assigned weekend cases.
Please note:
- No locals. Must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver’s license.
- Must work 1–2 of the three upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
- Former UPH staff or float-pool PRN employees must meet the 12-month separation requirement. Prior UPH travel assignments do not trigger this restriction.
