Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse - Monterey, California. This position involves providing total patient care in a busy cardiac catheterization lab setting, with responsibilities including preoperative and postoperative patient management, call coverage, and assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or a related specialty, with familiarity in managing complex cardiovascular cases such as PCI, pacemaker insertion, STEMI, TAVR, and Watchman procedures.

Job Details

Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating call shifts in the evenings, weekends, and holidays. The call response time is 30 minutes.
Required Qualifications: Valid certification in BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS; minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiac catheterization or related specialty.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman; registered cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS).
Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient with electronic medical records, preferably Epic; responsibilities may include preop and postop patient management; on-call duties are an essential part of the role; unit-specific orientation will be provided over 2-3 shifts depending on experience. Floating is not required for this position.
