Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a two-room unit supporting coronary PCI and structural heart procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra.
• Proficiency with vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors.
• Active Iowa RN or compact license at submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS through AHA or American Red Cross.
• Epic Cupid experience highly preferred.

Assignment Details

• Orientation dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; December 7.
• Call: 10–12 shifts per month, including every third weekend.
• Holidays: Must work 1–2 of the three upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
• EMR: Epic.
• Travel eligibility: Must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver’s license.

Submission Checklist
Current resume documenting 24 months of Cath Lab experience, Cath Lab skills checklist, license verification, driver’s license, BLS, and ACLS. A leadership reference from the past 24 months is preferred.

Former UnityPoint Health employees: A 12-month separation policy applies to former staff and PRN float-pool employees. Previous travel assignments do not trigger this restriction.
