Job Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience
• BSN
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Active IL RN License

Additional Information:

• Complete and maintain proficiency to care for and monitor patients receiving and recovering from moderate sedation
• Perform all responsibilities required for assessing, monitoring, and removing arterial and venous sheaths
• Remain competent in required POC testing to include glucose, ACT/ISTAT, and UHCG
• Prepare patient for procedure with correct labs, IV placement, and shaving
• Assist MD or PA with a variety of bedside procedures, including understanding of supplies needed, ordering specimens, and necessary hemodynamic monitoring required during procedure
