Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires a highly experienced professional capable of floating across all Des Moines campuses to support various units as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
- Education Requirements: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license at the time of submission
- Years of Experience: 24 years minimum experience in Cardiac Cath/CCL required
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience, structural heart experience highly preferred, EP experience highly preferred, travel experience highly preferred, scrubbing experience preferred, circulating monitoring experience required, precepting as needed, willingness to float across campuses, and experience with Epic EMR.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed, with orientation dates scheduled starting 10/19. The position involves responding to call schedules, occasional weekend cases, and managing assigned cases on rare occasions.
