Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to uphold high standards of professional practice. The RN executes functions aligned with organizational policies, mission, and practice standards as defined by relevant professional and regulatory guidelines.

Shift Notes

Shifts may consist of:

• Five (5) 8-hour shifts
• Four (4) 10-hour shifts
• Two (2) 8-hour shifts with two (2) 12-hour shifts

Scheduled hours range from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with specific combinations based on departmental needs.

Weekend Requirements

RNs are expected to be available for on-call duties, with one full weekend required each month.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain and enhance standards of care.
• Administer nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to their needs promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting - Required
• Previous travel nursing experience - Preferred

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from AHA

License Requirements

Active Michigan state license is required at the time of submission.
