Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab collaborates effectively with other healthcare professionals to uphold professional practice standards. This role involves executing nursing functions in accordance with established policies, mission statements, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical center policies and procedures.
  • Utilize professional knowledge and skills to perform nursing duties safely and effectively.

Shift Notes

Shifts may consist of five 8-hour, four 10-hour, or a combination of two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts. Scheduled hours can range from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, based on departmental needs.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

The position requires a commitment to on-call duties, including being available for 7 to 11 days per month, with one complete weekend required each month.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience is required.
  • Previous travel experience is preferred.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) are required.
  • Active Michigan state nursing license is required at the time of application.
