Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 3 years of registered nurse experience including 1 year in critical care; current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure; current BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; successfully pass EKG test.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in caring for patients; perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care; administer prescribed medications and treatments per policies and procedures; ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation; develop and execute individualized patient plans of care; provide patient and family education; participate in performance improvement activities; support clinical expertise and resource sharing across units; manage complex situations with appropriate delegation and escalation; promote professional and organizational growth through continuous learning; support peer review and feedback; participate in professional nursing continuum; maintain timely patient flow and respond to telephone triage.
