Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab works collaboratively with other healthcare team members to uphold the standards of professional practice. This role emphasizes adherence to established policies, mission, and the standards defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure adherence to professional practice standards.
  • Carry out nursing functions in accordance with organizational policies and departmental standards.
  • Provide patient care and education related to cardiac procedures and interventions.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and effective Cath Lab environment.

Work Schedule

Shifts may consist of five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or a combination of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts. Scheduled hours typically range from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, based on departmental needs.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

The position requires a commitment to on-call days and one full weekend each month.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Previous travel experience is preferred.
  • Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA).
  • Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of application.
