The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialty position is based in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license, 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience, applicable skills specific to Cardiac Cath Lab discipline, BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications, drivers license, and at least 24 months of relevant work history.
- Preferred Qualifications: Very high preference for structural heart, electrophysiology (EP), and travel experience, scrubbing experience, circulating monitoring experience, and precepting capabilities as needed.
- Additional Information: The role involves working on a call schedule of 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend, with occasional assignments on rare cases. Candidates may be required to work 1-2 of three upcoming summer holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day, unless the unit is closed. The position necessitates floating across all local campuses within minutes of each other.
