Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves circulating on left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker procedures, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). The ideal candidate will have experience in the catheterization lab environment and be flexible to float to pre- and post-care for cardiology, gastrointestinal, and interventional radiology patients.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, and familiarity with the care setting for acute cardiology procedures.
  • Float: Must be able to float to pre- and post-care for cath lab, GI, and IR patients. For GI patients, staff will follow doctor's orders, take vital signs, and provide family education at discharge; no case work for GI.
  • Additional Information: Unit operates with a self-scheduled call system, averaging 7 or more shifts per month including weekends, with no mandatory call or standby. Orientation is 1 week, and hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
