Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN (Registered Nurse) Location not specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory with a focus on electrophysiology procedures, including device implants and ablations. The role requires a seasoned RN with recent electrophysiology experience to support monitoring, circulation, scrubbing, and intra-arterial/venous catheter insertions.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification; minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrophysiology; recent electrophysiology experience including device implants and ablations; skills in circulation, scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and intra-arterial/venous catheter insertion during EP procedures; cardiology experience withCAD/adult/Devices(pacemakers); recent cath lab experience.
- Schedule: Days shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week, total of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Responsibilities: Nurses will scrub and provide conscious sedation during procedures, assist with cases, and take on-call duties as scheduled. They will help train newer staff members and support a hybrid operating room environment for structural heart procedures.
- Certifications: BLS Certification is required.
- Additional Information: EMR system used is Epic. Nurses will participate in rotating on-call shifts, totaling approximately 9-12 days per month, with responses required within 30 minutes. Scrubs are provided in-house.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
