Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Details

This position is for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse with a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though flexibility is required as the schedule may vary based on procedure completion. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:1.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cath lab or electrophysiology (EP) experience required.
  • First-timers: Candidates with prior experience in cath lab are welcomed.
  • Licensure: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to starting.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the staffing agency; the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers.
  • Weekend Requirement: Weekend availability is required, including on-call responsibilities one weekend per month and a call shift during one weekday each week.

Miscellaneous Information

  • Local Candidates: Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis, under specific conditions.
  • Parking: Parking is available on site at no cost, with a pass provided at badge pickup.
  • Hurricane Season Notice: Travelers should note that during hurricane season (June to November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
