Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced cardiac cath lab environment. The RN will be responsible for assisting with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures within a dynamic team setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience with at least 1 year of recent experience; valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; candidates with holding experience and monitoring experience are preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostics and interventions, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEE, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests; positive, flexible personality; engaged in high-quality patient care.
- Additional Information: The unit includes a cardiac catheterization lab with 3 beds, 9 staff members, and advanced equipment including GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab. Staff are housed within 30 minutes of the cath lab and participate in 1-2 call shifts weekly, including every third weekend (Friday-Sunday). The team offers a high-functioning environment with engaged physicians, modern technology, and beautiful Colorado mountain views.
