Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab position. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including catheterizations, left and right heart procedures, pulmonary artery line monitoring, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management. The position follows a weekday schedule with overnight call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; valid state license, with a compact license in hand at submission; experience with charting systems required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities may include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, adult diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and monitoring of procedural sedation units. Seven overnight call shifts are required per 14-day pay period.
