Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina.

Cath Lab RN – Charleston, SC

Shift: Rotating 4x10hr Days (0700–1730 & 0930–2000) — grouped by week for consistency
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Local Radius: 60-mile rule; locals considered case-by-case at 10% below posted bill rate
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (hours may be broken down)

Facility Details:

Charting System: Epic
Ratio: 1:1
5 rooms, ~20 cases/day
Patient population: Adults, Geriatrics
Special equipment: Impella, Balloon pump, Angiojet, Shock Wave
Case types: Peripheral and coronary diagnostic/interventional procedures
Interdisciplinary support: Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response, Pharmacy
Scrubs: Cath Lab hospital-issued
No floating to other service lines or sister facilities

Call/Weekend:

On-call required: 1 weekday call shift/week + 1 weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) per month
Weekend coverage: 1 weekend/month call

Requirements:

2+ years of experience required (first-timers accepted)
SC license or compact license in hand prior to start (SC-in-hand candidates prioritized)
Active BLS and ACLS required
EP/Cath Lab experience required
Radiation badge required — must be provided by agency (MUSC does not provide one)
Skills: cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, diagnostic/interventional catheterizations, EP lab, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation monitoring/administration
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID vaccine not required
SSN required to submit
