Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified professional in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) to join their team. This role involves providing leadership and delivering high-quality patient care within a specialized cardiac unit. The position requires effective communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, including 6:30 am to 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 6:30 am, with 3 days per week. Additional scheduled shifts include 9:00 am to 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, with weekend call.
- Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure as per state requirements, BLS certification, graduation from an accredited school of nursing, minimum of 3 years of experience, and at least 1 year in a similar role within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform professional nursing services, develop and implement care plans, delegate tasks, supervise staff, and ensure proper documentation. Effective verbal communication skills and analytical abilities are essential.
