Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within an interventional cardiac catheterization lab. The position requires clinical expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with duties that support patient safety and procedural success in a high-volume, Level I trauma center.

Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN
• Shift: 3x12 Days (0630-1900), average schedule of 36 hours per week
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a commitment of at least 36 hours weekly
• Responsibilities include circulating procedures, diagnostic catheterizations, managing adult and left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterizations, and administering procedural sedation. Expertise in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation is essential.
• Preferred Skills: Cerner charting experience
• Additional requirements: Active Illinois license, successful completion of orientation modules, and successful background check. Candidates must be able to float if needed and work 2-3 weekends per contract, including two major holidays.
• Submission must include necessary certifications, active licensure, and demonstration of compliance with background checks and onboarding procedures.
