Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position requires passionate professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care in our Cardiac Cath Lab.

Shift and Schedule

• Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Occasionally perform STEMI coverage on weekends; participation in STEMI call is required when scheduled.
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, Monday to Saturday for post-PCI patients requiring return to the Cath Lab.

Team Structure

The Cath Lab team consists of 3 full-time nurses, with a pre/post procedure area that includes 4 bays staffed by 2 registered nurses. The facility operates with only 1 Cath Lab procedure room.

Floating and Local Requirements

• Floating: Travelers will not float between service lines.
• Floating to Sister Facilities: Not required.
• Local Radius: A 60-mile radius rule applies.
• Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• First-Timers: Accepted.
• Licensure: A valid South Carolina license or a compact license is required prior to starting the position.
• Certifications: Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Radiation Badge: A radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers.

Miscellaneous Information

• Block Schedule Accommodation: Requires manager's approval based on unit needs.
• RTO Restrictions: All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission and will be subject to approval based on facility needs.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Any called-off hours may accumulate to equal 1 shift.
